Found Sounds: The Sounds of Refreshment
Found Sounds is a SoundCloud community feature focusing on some of the most weird and wonderful sounds that can be found on SoundCloud. Count on new installments with some of our favorite sounds each Tuesday!
There’s nothing more refreshing than that first beer after work on a Friday night, or cracking open a can of Coca-Cola on a hot sunny day. But what does refreshment sound like? Is it the crack of a can, the pouring of liquid in to a glass, the pop of a cork or maybe that gasp of satisfaction after your first sip!
Personally, I find nothing more refreshing than an ice cold can of coke when I’m particularly parched! For me, refreshment sounds like the crack of a can as you break the metallic seal for your first sip. Take a listen to nonsuperficialsuperearth doing just that:
For some it may be something a little more sophisticated; maybe you appreciate the fine wines of the world, or you know your malts from your bourbons. In that case sitting down and opening a fine whiskey may be your idea of refreshment, the sound of the liquid hitting and cracking blocks of ice as your pour it ‘on the rocks’.

On a Friday at the SoundCloud office you’ll hear clinking beer bottles and the cracking of cans all over the place when it hits 6PM. At the end of a hard week we like to get together and take a minute to relax, and socialize, what better way than over a beer. Here is that refreshing sound from ZYBLMNL to reminds us of the weekend.
‘Cheers!’, ‘Prost!’, ‘Salute!’, that’s all for this week’s Found Sounds! Tune in next week for more crazy sounds from the ‘Cloud.
