SoundCloud Local: Bristol

Bristol is the focus of this week’s SoundCloud Local. Situated in South-West England, Bristol has produced the likes of Banksy and Massive Attack, as well as the following three SoundClouders. Let’s have a listen:
Rob Clouth makes electronica, (or as he calls it ‘glitchstep’) as Vaetxh. The intricate rhythms, filled with degraded buzzes and clicks are reminiscent of the likes of Prefuse 73 and Telefon Tel Aviv.
Lord Edward Dark
Lord Edward Dark is the solo project of Phillip Collings, full of lush orchestrations and harmonious vocals. Phillip’s currently posting the progress he’s making on two new albums over on his SoundCloud account.
Back on an electronic tip, Vacant Shores are a two piece mixing dark, electronic atmospheres, haunting vocals, and glitchy beats.
If you’re in the city or area, feel free to join the SoundCloud Local: Bristol Group, and share your sounds with fellow Bristolian SoundClouders.
And remember to keep an eye on Meetup.com for any events coming your way.
