Introducing ‘SoundCloud Speaks’, our new audio series!
Today we’re announcing our new audio series ‘SoundCloud Speaks’, where we’ll be taking an in-depth look into stories from the ‘cloud, shedding light on new features, and showcasing some of your fantastic work!
In this first episode, we had a chat with Disquiet‘s Marc Weidenbaum about ambient music, noise, and the compositional challenges he sets using SoundCloud. Marc curated Instagr/am/bient, where 25 ambient producers swapped Instagram photos and composed music to match the photo they received, and currently is running Junto weekly where Marc sets a weekly brief, giving users four days to submit a composition to a SoundCloud Group.

SoundCloud Speaks is your show, so let us know what you’d like to hear. If you have a story you’d like to tell, a question you’d like answered, or want to recommend a friend’s sounds for us to share, get in touch by either leaving a comment here, or sending us a voice message at our dropbox. We’re also looking for some more voices for our intro jingles, if you fancy being included, just send us a recording of you saying ‘SoundCloud Speaks’, and we’ll throw it in the mix.
Thanks again for listening, hope you enjoy!
