SoundCloud is 5!

Five years ago, Eric and I and the rest of our founding team introduced SoundCloud to the world (here’s the first track ever posted, by Eric himself).

Today, we want to thank you, the incredible SoundCloud community, for half a decade of sharing music & audio. These days you’re posting 12 hours of it every minute. It’s amazing. 90% of tracks get played, most on the day that they’re posted. More than half within the hour that they’re posted.
