Introducing SoundCloud tracks in your Twitter timeline with audio cards
Get ready to play some fresh SoundCloud tracks in your Twitter timeline on your mobile. Starting today, some SoundCloud creators can use Twitter’s new audio cards to share music & audio right in their followers’ Twitter timelines on both iOS and Android devices. Just hit the big play button to hear them. Even bigger news: soon, we’re making this new feature open to everyone.

We’re launching Twitter audio cards with a small group of music & audio creators to begin with, including This American Life (@thisamerlife), NASA (@nasa) and The White House (@whitehouse), as well as David Guetta (@davidguetta), Steve Aoki (@steveaoki) and Zeds Dead (@whoszed). And in the coming weeks, we’ll be making the cards available to anyone who posts on SoundCloud. Everyone using Twitter on mobile will be able to hear what you’ve shared right there in their timeline. It’s a beautiful, integrated playing experience — you can even dock the audio card if you want to continue browsing in the Twitter app.
We’re excited to be working with Twitter to be the platform that’s making audio cards available to everyone, from global superstars to bedroom beatmakers. It’s just one more way that we’re collaborating with all kinds of partners to build the best creator tools for you.
