DJs and Producers now invited to SoundCloud Premier

Every day, the SoundCloud team is working hard to ensure SoundCloud remains a constantly evolving hub for culture-defining creativity, while also growing and expanding our revenue sharing opportunities to all kinds of creators. DJs and producers are an integral part of the SoundCloud ecosystem, sharing thousands of new tracks on the platform every day. This is why we’re especially psyched to share today’s news, the expansion of the SoundCloud Premier program.

Beginning today, DJs and producers who create sets, remixes and other forms of creative works will now be invited to join our SoundCloud Premier program, and earn revenue for the tracks they share on SoundCloud. This means:

• More creators in the SoundCloud Premier program – adding DJs and producers to the program in addition to creators of original works

• Creating more ways for artists to build their audience – while getting paid. In addition to the massive global community SoundCloud provides, DJs and producers invited to join SoundCloud Premier, can now share their work with a wide audience while also generating revenue.

SoundCloud Premier was launched in 2014 to enable creators to earn money for the work they share on SoundCloud. The program is powered by the revenues we generate through our subscription services and advertising on the platform. The more we grow revenues, the more creators we can invite into the program.
